Detail Description :
There have been various requests from customer to design and build equipment to suit research requirements as well as production processes which are difficult to carry out on standard equipment.

Vertical (3m x 3m), horizontal (4m x 3m) and small-scall furnaces (e.g. 1.3m x 1.3m) for exploratory / development testing are available, together with fully computerized control and data monitoring / handling systems. Loading systems can be supplied as an option. Associated consumable and spare parts can also be supplied.

Crucible Furnace

Product Description :
Gas and oil fired crucible furnaces can be supplied with an automatic two stage high / low/ off control or a single stage high/off control packaged burner system.

Detail Description :
The refractory linings comprise of a hybrid of perlite boards (cold face) and refractory bricks on the walls and castables on floor. Leak detectors are provided at the drain out hole on the furnace floor and this serves to stop further melting operations should aluminium flow out of a broken crucible.

These features are available on all our tilting and bale out furnaces ( electric, gas or oil fired). Suitable for melting aluminium and zinc

Efficient design and construction

We insulate our furnace walls with low thermal mass fiber and refractory bricks. The hearth is constructed from hardwearing and durable refractory. Heating element coiled on ceramic tubes radiates freely into the chamber and provides efficient heating up of the charge loads. The chamber receives heat from both sidewalls and hearth. This design has the advantage of high power reserve, fast heat-up and uniform temperature distribution.

Safety

The composite high-grade ceramic fiber lining gives low external wall furnace temperature. Isolating door switch to turn off power to heater when the door is opened. Good design, high strength materials, electrical and mechanical safeguards, and color-coded controls are used to maximize equipment safety for operating personnel.
