DS 250 Standard

Double Net Straw Blanket

The DS 250 was designed for erosion protection and the establishment of vegetation up to 12 months. Ideal for low maintenance areas such as subtle grades, swales, slope ranging from 4:1 to 3:1.

Made from agricultural straw, stitched with degradable thread to a double layer of photodegradable polypropylene netting.

Able to provide temporary short term, pre-vegetated erosion protection and popularly used on roadside slopes, reclaimed mine lands and other low maintenance areas.

The securely fastened to the ground DS250 offering significantly greater erosion protection than loose or hydraulically applied mulches after grading and seeding have taken place.

The DS 250 would greatly protect the seed and soil from the ravages of soil particle detachment caused by wind and rain. The protective mulch covered by the blankets helps create optimal conditions for seed germination and growth.
