Product Description:
Nipah Palm - found abundantly in paddy planting areas which are nearer to the sea & river banks. The flower cluster or inflorescence can be tapped before it blooms to yield a sweet, edible sap collected to produce a local beverage called Nira. Nira is also further processed for several weeks to make edible vinegar. Nipah Palm vinegar are also consumed as healthy drinks, especially to deal with high blood pressure, diebetes and kidney stone.
